I work in a company that has multiple branches all around the world. This is one of the reasons why I have to travel so often. Last year, my company asked me to visit the New York branch. Since it was a long trip, I decided to take my family with me. The flight ticket for my trip was booked by the company but there were no seats available for my family, so I requested them to cancel the same. After this, I started searching on my own to find a cost-effective airline with flexible policies, and most importantly they should offer amazing services in-flight for long-haul flights.

After spending a good amount of time, I found Allegiant Airlines. One of my colleagues also told me to make reservations with Allegiant Airlines because last year, he traveled to the same airlines and he had an amazing experience with them. Based on my research and his recommendations, I decided to call Allegiant Airlines for reservations. The customer care representative guided me and provided me with all the necessary details i.e. flight schedule, fare types, cost of the tickets, check-in details, baggage allowance, cancellation policy, date & time change policy, same-day change policy, and the steps I will need to follow for the online Allegiant Airlines booking.

To find flights of Allegiant Airlines to book online, I followed the steps listed here:

  • Browse through the official website of Allegiant Airlines
  • On the homepage, you will find a box saying BOOK TRIP. Enter all the requested details i.e. departure and arrival destinations, travel date, number of adult passengers and children to find flights as per your schedule
  • When you provide all these details, a new page will open containing the flight details along with the ticket’s cost
  • If everything seems good to you, click on the ‘CONTINUE’ button
  • You can also choose your bundle to add extra services
  • Now, enter the details of the passenger i.e. name, gender, date of birth, contact number, email ID, etc.
  • Once you are done with these details, you will be redirected to the payment page
  • Make the payment through debit card, credit card, or internet banking
  • Now, check your email ID or contact number to get the confirmation of Allegiant Airlines booking

While traveling, we were provided with the lip-smacking snacks along with soft and hot drinks. The seats were also quite comfortable. I have also opted for Allegiant Airlines’ frequent flyer program –myAllegiant so that I can get more benefits on my next travel. For me, it was an amazing travel experience with this airline.

Places to Explore in New York

As I have mentioned earlier that it was a long trip, my family wanted to make the most out of this opportunity. So, every weekend we decided to explore this vibrant place. We visited so many places but my top picks are:

1. The Central Park

A walk, carriage ride, or peddle through the crisscrossing pathways of this amazing park is a ‘must-do’ in New York City. You can also lace up your skates and enjoy gliding across Wollman Rink if you are coming here in winters like us. This beautiful Central Park is situated in the heart of the city and it is 2.5 miles long and a half-mile wide. We visited the Central Park Zoo, the Lake, the Strawberry Fields, and the Belvedere Castle. For me, it was an experience to remember.

2. Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock Observation Deck

When it comes to the attractions of New York, you cannot ignore the Rockefeller Center. The vast shopping and entertainment complex in the center of Manhattan will give you a different experience. But for me, the showstopper was the 70-Story 30 Rockefeller Plaza – an Art Deco Skyscraper. It offers the most beautiful view over Manhattan from the well-known Top of the Rock Observation Deck. We also clicked so many pictures in front of the famous Bronze Sculpture of Atlas. You should also take out some time to visit this fantastic place.

3. The Metropolitan Museum of Art

I am very fond of arts and historical collections. So, it was like a treat for me to visit the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art or commonly known as MET. Founded in 1870, it is one of the most popular museums in the US. The collection of this museum consists of over 2 million art works which are around 5,000 years old. This museum has 3 sites but I liked the centerpieces – the MET 5th Avenue. It has the collection of arms and armor, costumes, decorative arts, musical instruments, Egyptian art, photographs, and so on. Whether you are an admirer of art works or not, you should visit this place at least once.

4. Times Square

Lined with brilliantly lit, huge screens and billboards, Times Square is the best place to go in the evening in the whole New York. This place is always busy and perpetually crowded. Even after this, it has its own ‘unique’ appeal. I was surprised to know that it was previously known as Longacre Square. It was named Times Square in 1904 after the Times Tower. It is an outstanding place to see how vibrant and lively this place is!

5. The Statue of Liberty

When you are in New York, how can you miss the chance to visit this amazing place! Built in 1886, the Statue of Liberty was a gift to America from France. It is considered one of the largest statues in the world with its 152 feet height and around 450,000 pounds of weight. If you truly want to appreciate the beauty of this statue, I would suggest you take a short boat trip to Liberty Island. You can even enter the pedestal, walk around the base, or simply go right up to the CROWN. While you are here for the tour, you will get the option to explore the Immigration Museum and Ellis Island. My wife loved this place.

Apart from these attractions, we also visited High Line, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Empire State Building, Broadway and the Theater District, Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, and other places. I had the best experience in New York ever and it all started with the Allegiant Airlines booking. So, book your next flight with them but yes, do not forget to explore Reservations Number to see if there is any ongoing discount or special offer available to save more on your travel.
